Gladys Bergliot Severson was born 28, July 1907 in Davenport, Cass County, North Dakota.  She was the second child of eight born to Norwegian immigrants;  Sven Severson Trøyflat and Sigrid Olsdatter Kvale.  Besides being a wife and mother to two sons, Gladys kept busy outside of the home, too.  After Olaf died, she worked for a Home Health Nursing company, helping to care for other senior citizens.  We were fortunate to have lived close and spent much time with this Grandma.  Gladys died on 30, April 1989 in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota and is interred, next to Olaf, at Oak Grove Cemetery.
